Lynch was born on December 29, 1995 in Littleton, Colorado of the United States. He is born with his birth name Ross Shor Lynch to Mark Lynch(father) and Stormie(mother). He has four siblings: 3 brothers (Rocky, Ryland and Riker) and one sister (Rydel) and he is the second youngest among them. He is also a second cousin of Julianne Hough and Derek Hough (an entertainers). At the age of 12, he along with his family moved to Los Angeles.
He started his career in the acting from the year 2009 by appearing in some minor television series. But after 2 years in the year 2011, he was casted in the Disney Channel television series named “Austin & Ally” where he played the lead role of Austin Moon.The show was about the relationship between Austin Moon (fun loving teenage singer) and Ally Dawson( songwriter). This show was a massive hit and earned numerous awards and became quite popular worldwide. He also sang many songs for the show’s soundtrack as well.
Lynch is also known for his popular role as Brady in the Disney Channel Original Movie ‘Teen Beach Movie’ which was released in 2013, as well as its sequel ‘Teen Beach 2’ which premiered in 2015. He also played the role of Young Florist in 2014 movie ‘Muppets Most Wanted’.
In addition to acting, Ross Lynch is part of the band R5, which is made up of his siblings. He released his first play named ‘Ready Set Rock’ with his band in 2010. After its release, he signed with Hollywood Records in September the same year.
R5 released their first album in the fall of 2013 which was titled “Louder”. It turned out to be a huge success, that reached to number 24 on the Billboard 200 of the United States, and sold more than 15,000 copies in it’s first week. They released another album ”Sometime Last Night” in 2015, which was a massive hit that reached to number 6 on Billboard 200 of the United States and at number 4 on the Billboard Top Album series.
