Len Wein Net Worth: Len Wein was an American comic book writer and editor known for co-creating DC Comics’ Swamp Thing and Marvel Comics’ Wolverine. Before his death, Len Wein net worth is estimated to be $3 million.

Len Wein was born on June 12, 1948 in New York City and during his teenage time, he was a huge fan of comics and used to spend a lot of time reading comics or going to DC Comics office for tours. After some years, DC editor Joe Orlando hired Len Wein as freelance writer. His first professional comics story was “Eye of the Beholder” in DC’s Teen Titans No. 18. Wein’s first superhero work for Marvel was one-off story in Daredevil. He then began working writing script for superhero like Flash, Supergirl and Superman.

In early 1970s, Wein began writing regularly for Marvel Comics. As a writer, he worked writing script for superheroes like The Amazing Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor and Fantastic Four. He co-created the famous superhero Wolverine with artist John Romita Sr. and Herb Trimpe. After falling in a dispute with Marvel Management, he returned back to DC as a writer and editor.

In his second spell at DC, Wein  served as editor in chief of Disney Comics and began writing and editing story for animated television series like X-Men, Batman, Spider-Man, Street Fighter, Phantom 2040, Godzilla and many more. In the late 90s and 2000s, he went to work on the Simpsons, appearing on the game shows and writing Cartoon Network Series.

Len Wein Death Cause: Lin Wein underwent quintuple bypass heart surgery on February 2015. He died on September 10, 2017.
