Ab-Soul Net Worth: As of 2017, Ab-Soul net worth is estimated to be around $1 million. An American rapper, Ab-Soul embarked his music career by recording his first song in 2002 and became eminent as an artist by forming a Hip-Hop group, Black Hippy under the Top Dwag Entertainment in 2009.

Ab-Soul, born on February 23, 1987 in Los Angeles, California, US as Herbert Anthony Stevens IV, developed interest toward music by listening to music of artist like Twista, Canibus, Eminem, Nas and Lupe Fiasco  at record store owned by his family. His keen interest toward music made him learn rapping skills. At the age of 12, he started doing freestyle and improved on his rhyming skills. His passion towards rapping intensified after graduating from high school.

His passion and dedication towards rapping earned him a record contract with StreetBeat Entertainment in 2005. Under this record label, he recorded several songs and learned a lot about rap music. In pursue of music career, he met president and chairman of Top Dwag Entertainment, Punch in 2006 and signed to Top Dwag Entertainment and became the part of Top Dawg roster in 2007. After his brief appearance in Jay Rock’s debut single, All My Life (In the Ghetto) in 2008, he released his song A Day in the Life with music video on Youtube. His debut mixtape, Longterm was released in 2009. The same year, he formed a Hip-Hop group, Black Hippy including TDE label mates Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock and K-Dot. In 2010, he released his second mixtape, Longterm 2: Lifestyles of the Brooke and Almost Famous which was highly acclaimed.

Following his success of mixtape, he released his independent album, Longterm Mentality in 2011, under Top Dwag Entertainment. This album was well received from critics and charted at number 73 on US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Since then, he has released other three independent albums: Control System (2012), These Days… (2014), Do What Thou Wilt (2016). These albums were also well received from all around. Apart from his own music, he has worked with artists like Chance The Rapper, Twista, Mac Miller, Jay Rock, Schoolboy Q, Joe Budden in their songs. He has also been part of Tours like These Days Tour (2014), YMF Tour (2017) and several events and festivals.
